February is well underway, and we’re having a blast playing exciting free games through PS Plus this month like For Honor and Hitman: The Complete First Season. But what PlayStation Plus March 2019 free games can we look forward to? Let’s take a look at some free Playstation Plus March 2019 predictions.
1.Genji: Days of the Blade
One forthcoming release slated for March 22nd is Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice. This highly-anticipated game is the work of the developers over at FromSoftware. To raise anticipation for it, we think that another game set in feudal Japan could be free in March. Our guess is Genji: Days of the Blade, which released in 2006 for PS3.
2. Earth Defense Force 2025
Ps Plus March 2019
Another possible free game through PS Plus next month is Earth Defense Force 2025. This game was available for free in March 2017. It originally came out in 2014 for both PS3 and PS4 along with other major platforms. Earth Defense Force: Iron Rain is slated for an April 11th release on PS4, so this is a good chance to up the hype.
3. The Walking Dead: A New Frontier
On March 26th, The Walking Dead series from Telltale Games is going to be wrapping up its final season with Episode 4: Take Us Back. This may be a good time to catch up gamers who have fallen behind with Season 3, The Walking Dead: A New Frontier. The Walking Dead: Season 2 was featured in 2015, so there is precedent to feature another season free through PS Plus.
4. Fez
For an indie game for March 2019, we are predicting Fez, which last appeared through PS Plus back in 2014. Released back in 2012 for PS4, PS3 and Vita, it is a puzzle game to delight players on all platforms.

PES 2019 (PS4)
If you're new to football games, or if you've only ever played that football franchise that shares a name with a certain French federation, consider this your invitation onto a different pitch. For what it lacks in official licenses, PES remains more than competitive with unmatched visual quality and intricate yet approachable football gameplay. Plus, if you want to play a PES game that isn't weirdly branded with an eSports association, this may be your last chance.
Horizon Chase Turbo (PS4)
For all the visual splendor of modern racing games, they just can't capture the same sense of out-of-control speed that defined so many pre-3D arcade racers. That's the big idea behind Horizon Chase Turbo, a new game that plays like a modernized version of OutRun. It isn't photorealistic, but its minimalist visuals are all the better for going trance-inducingly fast.

Typically, an annual subscription to PlayStation Plus costs $60, the price of a brand new triple-A video game. That can be a lot of money for some, especially those who would rather spend that cash on games. However, PS Plus is required on PS4 to play games online, and that combined with its various other perks and bonuses makes it a necessity to have the best experience possible on PlayStation. Luckily, PS Plus is sometimes discounted, giving PlayStation fans the chance to pick up a subscription for a fraction of the cost.
Usually these deals are on Black Friday or through third-party retailers, but the PlayStation Store is currently hosting its own PS Plus deal right now. From now until March 26, as part of the PlayStation Store’s Great Indoors sales event, PlayStation owners can renew their subscription for $45 instead of $60. PS Plus subscriptions stack, so even those whose memberships aren’t up yet can renew and take advantage of the 25% discount.
Being subscribed to PS Plus comes with a wide range of benefits. As previously mentioned, a PS Plus subscription means PS4 owners can play games online, but it also gives them the opportunity to download free games each month. March 2019’s free games are pretty heavy hitters in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered and the critically-acclaimed puzzle game The Witness, so a PS Plus subscription pays for itself before too long.
Another benefit to being a PS Plus subscriber is added discounts. Often, like during the Great Indoors sale, PS Plus subscribers are able to get discounted games even cheaper than those who aren’t subscribed to the service. Wings of fire minecraft mod. So those who pick up a lot of games during sales may want to do the math and see if being a PS Plus subscriber would save them money in the long run.
25% off is a pretty good price for PlayStation Plus, but there have been times when the subscription has been even cheaper. PS4 owners should keep an eye out for PS Plus deals throughout the year, as they will likely have multiple opportunities to renew their subscriptions for cheap.
All good things must come to an end. Starting this month, Sony is no longer giving away free PS3 and PS Vita games to go along with its two free PS4 games. With the latest generation presumably winding down, and PS Vita production winding down in Japan, it makes sense for Sony to retire giveaways of games from two obsolete platforms, especially considering that the PlayStation 4 isn’t backward compatible with either console.
Ps Plus March 2019 Asia
But the show must go on, and the selection for March are admittedly solid. PlayStation Plus subscribers will be able to grab Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered and The Witness D&d ghost class. free of charge next month. Both titles are absolutely worth adding to your collection of PS4 games if you don’t already own them.
Here’s the complete lineup of free PlayStation 4 games available for PlayStation Plus subscribers in March:
- Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered: One of the most critically-acclaimed games in history, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is back, remastered in true high-definition. Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare set a new standard upon its original release for intense, cinematic action, while receiving universal praise as one of the most influential video games of all-time.
- The Witness: The Witness is a single-player game in an open world with dozens of locations to explore and over 500 puzzles. This game respects you as an intelligent player and it treats your time as precious. There’s no filler each of those puzzles brings its own new idea into the mix. So, this is a game full of ideas.
Both games listed above will be free to download starting on Tuesday, March 5th. As always, you will need to have an active subscription to PlayStation Plus in order to download them for free. You will also need to either keep paying for or restart your subscription in order to keep them, even if you downloaded them for free. The Bigger Game – The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt
PS Plus Free Games Predictions For March 2019
Those who subscribe to Sony’s online platform for their PlayStation consoles are also gifted a few free games every month under PlayStation Plus. Usually one larger game headlines the list, and for March 2019 we believe The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt – Complete Edition will be included for a number of reasons.
It should be mentioned that Sony has announced after February 2019, PlayStation Plus will no longer include PS3 and PS Vita games on its free games list and instead will only offer two free PS4 games. Before this, PS Plus offered two free games per platform, so users are losing out on two-thirds of free titles.
Therefore, the first PS Plus lineup after this change should feel pretty impressive so users don’t feel ripped off. The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt – Complete Edition would be a perfect pick as it’s considered one of the best games to ever be released on the PS4 and it’s currently on sale for only $20 off of $50 with an extra 10% if you are a PS Plus subscriber.
The Witcher 3 is also compatible with PS4 Pro, and it seems more likely Sony would include titles that function on both PS4 and PS4 Pro since two past consoles are now out of the picture.
The Complete Edition comes with the main game, along with all 16 DLCs and the two expansion packs Hearts of Stone and Blood and Wine.
Including The Witcher 3 as a free game would be a good way of easing subscribers into the new format for free games, without offering a AAA game that is still being sold at full price.
Check out the next game were we look at a possible smaller PS4 title to be included as well.
The Smaller Game – Undertale
PS Plus Free Games Predictions For March 2019
Keeping up with the idea Sony will have to offer some really good games this coming month to make up for the fact two-thirds of the program is getting cut, we believe including Undertale alongside The Witcher 3 would make this month seem substantial despite only being two games.
Even with only two games on PS Plus now, we still believe Sony will try to stick to the format where one of those is a larger AAA game and the other is a smaller indie title. Therefore, if the first indie offered is critically-acclaimed and publicly adored Undertale, then Sony will have made a smart decision.
Not to mention Undertale is also on sale right now, for $10 off of only $15.
